I’ll FLY AWAY
by Homer Owen
This is my final day at this time in Israel. I will be flying back to
Texas early in the morning. It truly has been a great time with our
Lord and Savior for the past few weeks. We were told many years ago
that all of our calls to heaven from Israel are local calls. I can
say that this has been true for me on this trip and I hope to
continue my calls from Texas this way. No long distance calls to home
above. Glory!
If you will Google this song title you can be blessed in listening to
the singing. The Lord has shown me that in almost all aspects of
walking with the Him we have both the natural and then the
Supernatural. Praise God for a good safe and calm flight fly home in
the natural tomorrow. Yes, Ruby and I both are excited about our
flight Home to glory in His time in the Supernatural. Can you hear the
Angels of God singing on your way home to heaven?
“So we do not lose heart. Though our self is wasting away, our inner
self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction
is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are
unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things
that are unseen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Isn’t that an awesome passage of scripture? What the Lord has for us
in His home place is truly eternal and full of peace like Jesus spoke
to his disciples after His resurrection. He had been home to glory in
His new life and this was His first word that He gave His guys that
were scared about might happen to them. Most of them did eventually go
into heaven after being killed like our King of Glory was. I saw many
years ago that we could have no greater way of flying into glory than
what our Lord did along with many of His followers over the centuries.
It is interesting to observe what world leaders call peace. Jesus
tells us that He gives peace not like the world does but what His
Father gives. Yes, we have a natural peace and a Supernatural peace.
Peace and blessing to you today. Homer
