The Lord loves to share His plans and purposes with us and fulfill what He promises as we walk with Him. I began my walk with Him in the Spirit back in 1968. The Lord encouraged me to go to Baylor and walk around the ground praying in the Spirit 2 or 3 times a week in the evening time. In the second year of this walk with the Lord one night the Lord overwhelmed me with His presence and He spoke to me in the Spirit.
“Homer, you have made a major breakthrough in the Spirit. I want to inform you about your breakthrough. I have the prayers of every Mother that has sent her children to Baylor and their prayers are sweet smelling under my throne. I will answer all of these prayers in the coming days.
The other major breakthrough is that you will see sport facilities all the country being built and coming forth with special meetings in the Spirit over the years. Continue to walk with me and be obedient to my voice and you will see more promises come forth.”
In 1976 the Lord had my wife and I go back to Highland Baptist and watch Him open the door for us to bring forth the working of the Holy Spirit there. He promised me that if I would listen and be obedient to His directions I would see His Spirit go out to the nations. We stayed in Highland until 1983 and have truly seen His Spirit go forth in great and awesome ways. It was a lot of joy to see the Holy Spirit come forth into many lives then and now.
In 1986 the Lord had me fast 40 days for new directions in my life. The Lord showed me ground on the east side of the Brazos river by Baylor and told me to build a golf facility on the land. It was a lot of joy from the Lord as I did this in the next 12 years. The Lord had us move from our beautiful home in the country into a small RV on the golf range telling us that we needed to do this to take over the land in the Spirit. My wife and I would walk over the ground to fulfill the first commandment in the Bible.
“God created humankind in His image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them. God blessed them and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, fill the land, and conquer it.’” Genesis 1:27-28
Baylor University bought all of this land and has now built the Football stadium. It is glorious to see the Lord using this facility in many different ways. The meeting on the 29th of March is great and we will see the Lord move among the people in special ways. The Lord has spoken to me that He wants to see this type of meeting to take place all over the country in the coming days and years.
The following passage of scripture is really great.
“You have been built on the foundation made up by the Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone. In Him the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple for the Lord. In Him, you also are being built together into God’s dwelling place in the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:20-22
