SPEAKING WORDS OF LIFE EACH DAY

SPEAKING WORDS OF LIFE EACH DAY
“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your
heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all
their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” Proverbs 18:21
Let us pray and confess and tell the Lord that we believe all that He
tells us in his “Words”. We are told that He came here to the earth
as the Word of God and that He became flesh. “HIM” being the word of
God is great for us to grasp. When He spoke to us He as the Word of
God He was giving us the Word of God in the flesh. Wow!
Our God is the great physician and His Son is our medicine of which He
is the Word of God. We must take His healing word and speak it
ourselves. Paul tells us about this in his epistle to the
Corinthians.
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is
written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and
therefore speak.’” 2 Corinthians 4:13
I am only sharing a little of this important word that Paul puts forth
in Corinthians. I would encourage you to read this chapter a few
times and pray and thank the Lord for His Word, (the Lord Jesus)
living in and through us as we walk here on the earth.
One of our major problems here on the earth is living in our
intelligence instead of living in His intelligence. It took me a few
years while we were living in Israel to truly grasp how important it
is to walk in His intelligence and not ours. Sure we can believe that
we need to die daily, but die from what? Our intelligence. The Lord
had me built a miniature golf course in Israel after owning a large
golf facility here in Texas. He told me that what He said in 1
Corinthians 1 about choosing the foolish things in the world to put to
shame the wise that this was talking about me because He wanted to
bring forth His wisdom here on the earth rather than mine.
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of
speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I
determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him
crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much
trembling.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-3
Aren’t you thankful that our God so loved us that He sent His Son here
to the earth to speak to us and declare the greatness of God by
demonstrating healing power for us. The scripture tells us that He is
the same yesterday, today and forever. Praise God that Jesus is
living inside of us and if we will listen to Him today He will give us
words of life. To help make them work for us we need to speak them.
“For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures
to all generations.” Psalms 100:5
Praise God that His love and mercy and grace is everlasting including
our generation. Blessings, Homer and Ruby Owen
